DID YOU KNOW?

  • Bourbon is distilled from a fermented mash of grain, yeast, and water and aged in new oak-charred barrels. The “mash bill” must have a minimum of 51% corn, but most bourbons are about 70%. Other grains such as rye, malted barley and wheat are considered “flavor” grains.
  • The term “wise guy” came into use in the late 1800s in North America, and classified someone as a smart aleck. In the 1970s,”wiseguy” came to mean a member of the Mafia.
